  1. Take 1 cup Raw rice -
  2. Get 2 cups Rice Par Boiled -
  3. Get 1 cup Urad Dal Whole -
  4. Take 1/2 cup rice cooked -
  5. Take to taste Salt
  6. Take Water as needed to grind
Instructions to make Idly Recipe:
  1. Wash and soak rice for 5 to 6 hours 
  2. Drain both. Take urad dal and grind in a blender, make it as a smooth batter. Grind Rice.The rice will not be super fine but will have small grits
  3. Grind cooked rice then add to the batter 
  4. Mix all these ingredients well. Add salt to taste 
  5. Cover this and let it ferment overnight or 8 to 10 hours.
  6. Next day morning you will get a risen batter. Mix this batter well
  7. Grease idli plates with little oil and spoon the batter into each moulds
  8. Cook this Idly batter for 10 minutes 
  9. Serve with sambar, chutney or Idly powder
