  1. Heat oil in a pot add onion till they browns add whole spices, then add ginger garlic, green chilli paste and salt. Then cook for 5 minutes
  2. Add tomatoes, green chilli slit, ginger Julienne, and peas then cook for 10 mins
  3. Add 2 cups water and cover the lid until peas cooked well.. Then add rice and add 1 1/2 leter water.. and cover the lid
  4. Cook for 15 mins.. Then add kewda water and food colour and coriander leaves.. cover the lid for 5 mins..
  5. Serve the delicious matar pulao with raita and chutney.
