- remove cream cheese from fridge to soften
- preheat oven 175C
- line baking tray/tin with baking paper
- crush biscuits/wafers and stir in melted butter
- pour crushed biscuits/wafers into baking tray/tin and press firmly to create a level base reaching all edges of baking tray/tin
- mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla essance till sugar granules dissolve
- stir in eggs one at a time
- pour cream cheese mixture into baking tray/tin on top of base
- bake for 40 - 45 minutes (cake must still be a little wobbly in the centre)
- cool cake to room temperature before putting in the fridge to chill for 3+ hours
