- Prepare 2 tbsp Plain yogurt whisked
- Take 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Get 1/4 tsp Black salt (kala namak)
- Get 1 tsp Kasoori methi (dried)
Steps to make Baby Potato Dum:
- Cook potato in pressure cooker peel them and discard the skin.
- Now heat the oil in a pan on medium heat.Once hot add whole spices.Saute for a minute then add cumin seeds.Then add chopped onions. Cook till onions are translucent and soft Add ginger and garlic paste and chopped green chilli and mix. Saute Add pureed tomato mix well.Let it simmer and continue cooking. Cook till almost all the moisture is evaporated and oil starts seprate from the sides.Then add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and coriander powder mix well and cook for a min.
- Then add whisked yogurt and add boiled baby potatoes. Mix well add ¾ cup of water and mix well.
- Let it simmer for 7-8 minutes. Lastly add garam masala, black salt and kasoori methi. Stir it.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with chapati.
