  9. add other half of butter and whisk until it melts into sauce (this will give your sauce a nice shine and richer taste)
  10. add shrimp to sauce. stir shrimp until all shrimp have turned pink in color.

I would recommend removing the shrimp from the pan once it's cooked through, and then add the half and half to the pan to thicken. Otherwise, the shrimp can become overcooked and tough.
