  2. Prepare 500 gms chicken

  7. Take 1/2 cup curd
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp fresh cream

  12. Get 2 onions
  13. Prepare as needed Oil
  14. Take 10-12 cashews
  15. Prepare 2-3 green chillies
  16. Prepare 1 tsp kasoori methi
  17. Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  18. Prepare 2 tbsp fresh cream
Instructions to make Reshmi Butter Chicken:
  1. Marinate the chicken for atleast 45 mins.
  2. Finely chop two onions. Heat oil in a pan and saute them till they turn golden brown. Remove in a plate.
  3. Add the sauted onions and cashews in the grinder with a little water and grind them till they turn into a fine paste.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Put in bay leaves and the onion-cashew paste. Saute till they begin to leave oil.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and saute for 10-12 mins. Cover and cook well.
  6. Add the kasoori methi and garam masala powder. Mix well.
  7. Once the gravy reaches the desired consistency, turn off the stove and add the freah cream. Mix well.
  8. To give a roasted fragrance to the curry, in a small bowl, heat a piece of coal. Place the bowl carefully between the gravy. Add a tbsp of ghee to the hot coal. Immediately cover the dish with a lid for 5 mins.
  9. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
