- Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric (haldi) Powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander-Cumin (dhaniya jeera) Powder

- Take 1 tsp lemon juice
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Garam Masala (optional)
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Sugar (Optional)
- Get for Garnish:
- Make ready as required Butter or Ghee
- Make ready as required chopped coriander leaves
Steps to make Jain Cabbage Peas Parantha:
- In a bowl, take wheat flour. Add salt, oil and mix well. Now add water gradually and form the dough.
- The dough should be as soft as roti dough. Grease it with oil and put it aside.
- Add salt to grated cabbage and put it aside for 10 minutes.
- Take cabbage in a muslin cloth and press well to extract water of the cabbage.
- In a mixture jar, add peas, green chillies, cumin seeds, Seasame Seeds and grind coarsely.
- In a bowl, put cabbage after extracting water, peas mixture, salt, turmeric powder, Coriander cumin powder, sugar, lemon juice and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. The filling is ready.
- Take non-stick tawa and put it to heat on slow flame.
- Divide the parantha dough into 3pieces. Roll a small thick roti and place the filling inside.
- TIP: While rolling, make sure you don't roll much in the centre. Keep the centre part thick and roll at the ends.
- Put the filling over the roti and close it.
- Roll the parantha carefully with light hands.
- Put the parantha on the heated tawa and half Cook on both sides.
- Add ghee/oil and cook the parantha till it turns golden brown.
- Garnish it with Butter and coriander leaves. Serve Hot with Curd and Pickle.
