Instructions to make Fried Rice Cabbage Dumplings:
- For the rice
- Boil the rice. Each grain of the rice should be separate. Keep aside.
- For the Dumplings
- In a mixing bowl add cabbage, carrots, onions, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli sauce & salt. Add corn flour & maida.
- Mix all together by squeezing to give a good binding to the mixture. Sprinkle little water in required.
- Make small balls. Deep fry in hot oil till they turn red & crispy. Keep them hot.
- For the Gravy
- In a big pan, heat olive oil. Saute garlic & add green chilli. Add spring onions, capsicums, carrots & toss on high flame.
- Make a space in the centre & add vinegar, red chilli sauce & soya sauce. Mix well.
- Make a slurry of corn flour & pour over the mixture. Add water. Add salt & let it boil till the gravy becomes sticky. Add the dumplings & boil.
- Sprinkle cabbage on the gravy & add rice. Toss well.
- Transfer the ready dish in a serving bowl & sprinkle spring onions greens on top. Serve one-meal-dish piping hot.
