Oreo ice cream cake is one of the most well liked of recent trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Oreo ice cream cake is something which I’ve loved my whole life.
After trying the Oreo ice cream cake, my whole family fell in love. I also added a layer of of penut butter topping to two the them!. I've never made this but I tasted a bit, that was all that was left, and it was really good.

- Take 12 Ice Cream Sandwiches
- Get Cool Whip Divided
- Get Hot Fudge
- Take Oreos (crushed) divided
Back in April I made a homemade ice cream cake on my instagram stories for my son's birthday. He is not a fan of lots of cake or frosting, but also loves ice cream, so an ice cream cake is the obvious. This is the best Oreo ice cream cake recipe! Seriously one of the best ice cream cakes I've ever tasted right here!
Instructions to make Oreo ice cream cake:
- Add a layer of 6 ice cream sandwiches in a pan
- Heat up hot fudge sauce with jar instructions spread over layer on ice cream sandwiches. (hot fudge just needs to be warm not hot just so it’s easy to work with. You want to do this step fast so the ice cream does not melt.)
- Put some crushed Oreos on top of the hot fudge; don’t use all of it, then Add on some of the cool whip; don’t use all of it
- Add the last 6 ice cream sandwiches
- Use the rest of the Cool Whip on the top and sides of all the ice cream sandwiches then top with crushed Oreos.To make it look pretty get the sides with crushed Oreos too.
- Place a lid on the container,place in freezer until it is frozen 2 to 4 hours or can make a day ahead of time and leave in over night.
- Notes- I had 4 of us eating this pre teens / a young adult / one adult and it lasted us two day. Everyone got 2 slices out of it. It really depends on how you cut it.

My husband always requests an ice cream cake for his birthday, so it has been on my wish list to find one that is easy enough to make myself, but delicious enough to "take the cake" when compared to store-bought or Dairy Queen ice cream cakes. 😉 Here it is - easy Oreo. Take your Oreo ice cream cake out of the freezer, and spread hot fudge onto the ice cream. I warmed it slightly but don't make it too hot that it will melt your ice cream. Top with softened ice cream, spreading it smoothly over the sandwiches. Pour crumbs into a small bowl and mix in the hot fudge sauce using a fork.
