  1. Take as needed Baby methi(fenugreek leaves)
  2. Prepare 1 Onion
  3. Get 2 potato
  4. Take 1 tomato
  5. Make ready 2 green chillies
  6. Prepare 2 tsp garlic
  7. Prepare to taste Salt
  8. Take as needed Oil
  9. Prepare Pinch Hing (asafoetida)
  10. Get 1 cup Green peas

Most importantly, the ingredients used in making this paratha are easily available in your kitchen shelf. Mustard seeds - Β½ tsp [optional] Fenugreek Leaves Soup/Methi Soup/Vendhaya Keerai Soup - healthy, tasty soup with fenugreek leaves, garlic, pepper powder and moong dal for babies, toddlers, and kids. Fenugreek leaves are loaded with fiber, iron, and vitamins. Let the frozen leaves defrost on the countertop or you can defrost it in microwave.

Instructions to make Baby methi:
  1. Wash and clean methi,chop the roots.heat oil in a pan add onion chopped, green chillies, garlic,hing
  2. Add potatoes,saute add tomatoes cook again,use green peas instead of tomatoes for different variety.
  3. It is slightly bitter in taste.

Once thawed, squeeze out all the water and then use in the recipe. You can make aloo methi with baby potatoes as well. If using the baby potatoes then I would suggest parboiling or half cooking them first and then saute in the recipe. It is a perfect tea time snack from the state of Gujarat. You can use either fresh methi leaves (fenugreek) or dried methi or kasuri methi, to prepare this dish.
