You can even make it with aloo/potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. I usually make plain poha upma or sometimes with vegetables or make it with potatoes as aloo poha. I have tried this sweet potato poha last week as I had to finish the left over sweet potato which is lying in my vegetables basket. It tasted so good and apt for kids !
Steps to make Poha and Sweet potato Pakora's:
- In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix it well.
- If you feel the mixture in dry then add very little water.
- Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Make small tikki's. and refrigerate it for atleast 15 minutes
- Now deep fry these tikkis and serve nice hot with chutney or mayo or ketchup.
Poha have turned puffy as well. Drain out the extra water from poha and mix them to the batter, followed by peanuts and mix well. If required, you can add some more water to the batter. Batter for making pakoras is now ready. Heat enough oil in a wok over flame for frying the pakoras.
