  1. Make ready 500 g basa fillet
  2. Take 1 onion
  3. Make ready 1 capsicum
  4. Take 1-2 green chillies
  5. Take 1 small ginger piece
  6. Prepare 8-9 garlic cloves
  7. Get 3-4 tsp corn flour
  8. Get 2-3 red dry chillies
  9. Get 2 tsp soya sauce
  10. Prepare 1 tsp green chilli sauce
  11. Make ready 2 tsp tomato sauce (optional)
  12. Prepare 2 tsp black pepper powder
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp sugar
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Prepare 2-3 tsp chopped spring onion
Steps to make Chilli garlic fish:
  1. First cut the basa fillet inti small cube shape pieces and keep aside. In a separate bowl keep 3 pieces red chillies and 4 garlic cloves, add water and keep for 15 minutes.
  2. In a bow, 3 tsp corn flour. Then add salt, soya sauce, black pepper powder, water and mix the ingredients to make a semi wet batter. Now coat the fish pieces with this batter and deep fry all the fish cubes.
  3. Cut the onion, capsicum in cube shape and keep aside. Blend the red chilli and garlic and make a smooth paste. Heat a pan or wok. Add oil.
  4. Add chopped garlic, ginger and saute till nice garlic aroma comes out. Add chpped spring onion and saute. Now add onion, capsicum, green chillies and saute for few seconds. Add soya sauce and saute again. Now when the capsicum and onion is half cooked, add the red chilli garlic mixture and me x it. Now add salt, black pepper powder, chilli powder, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and mix all the ingredients. Now add the fried fish pieces and mix with the masala.
  5. Now in a small bow mix 1 tsp cornflour with water and then add this to the pan. Now mix it with the fried fishes nicely. Add sugar if required and sprinkle some water. Now mix it properly and switch of the flame.
  6. In a serving bowl transfer the chilli garlic fish preparation, garnish with chopped spring onion.
