- Making Koftas - Take the mince and pound it using a mortar pestle.Add the following: - Mustard oil. Salt:. Fennel Powder Ginger Powder Egg Refined oil, Crushed powder. Cinnamon powder. Choti elaichi Mix well and pound for ten mins. Make round kofta balls, do grease your palms while doing so.Boil the koftas for ten minutes,and add two tbsp of refined oil in the water
- In a vessel, take the yoghurt and all the ingredients except ghee and mint. - Mix together and whisk the yoghurt till the mix is smooth and has no grains in it.
- Now put the Yoghurt mix to boil stirring constantly. Once it comes to boil, wait another minute for it to become slightly thicker in consistency.
- Add the koftas to the boiling yoghurt and cook for 3 to 5 mins. Add the ghee,mix well. Add the mint leaves cover with lid and take off the heat. Let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot with steamed rice.
