- Heat the pan and add butter until it melts, then stir fry garlic until fragrant. Put in broccoli mix well. Season with salt.
I often serve it plain or with just a little bit of melted butter, salt, and pepper, but when I want to make it especially delicious I whip up this easy, flavorful garlic butter sauce. It is the perfect side dish for any Asian inspired meal and many others too. While the broccoli is cooking, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Mix in the brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper and garlic. Bring to a boil, then remove from the heat.
