  1. First wash rice and lentils and soak in water for 15 minutes. And keep aside. Take oil in a pan fry onion and chillies fry till golden
  2. Now drain rice and lentils together add in oil.And salt simmer for 5 minutes at low heat.
  3. Now add required water cook about 15 _to 20 minutes or till you feel it's getting soft and dry its done.And serve with attached mash potatoes with chutney
