- Add salt as required
- Clean tamarind and soak it in the coarsely ground chilles. Keep the box closed for 4-5days so that tamarind absorbs all the water that comes from chillies due to salt
- Grind it to a smooth paste on day 5
- Prepare tadka using mustard, red chillies, garlic,curry leaves, turmeric and hing
- Add grinded pickle to this seasoning and mix well. This pickle stays fresh fòr 3-4months. Relish with hot rice, idli, dosa or Upma.
