- Make ready 1 tbsp saunf
- Get As per taste Salt
- Take 2 tbsp lemon juice
Only i felt , it could be better if it was a little more spicier. So this time i added a crush of Red chilies and Garlic to the stir fry and it was just perfect. Goes well with chapati raita and pickle. Veggies stuffed Roti with Daal,Kuruma or dry.
Steps to make Masala Bajra Roti with Instant Sweet Chilli Pickle:
- Bring 1 cup water to a boil along with salt, pepper, haldi, red chilli powder, hing and amchoor powder. Add the flour to it.
- Lower the flame and let the water boil over the flour. Cover the vessel while doing so. After 5 minutes switch off the flame and mix the dough well with a spoon. Cover and set it aside to cool down a bit. Once cool enough to handle, knead it well to form a dough.
- While rolling out the rotis smoothen each ball well with wet hands and roll them out.
- Heat a non-stick pan and cook the roti by flipping it over till puffed up and done with brown spots. Remove and apply desi ghee. Serve with achaar or chutney.
- For the achaar.. apply w tsp salt to the chopped chillies and keep aside for 20 minutes. Strain and remove excess water. Heat up oil and let it cool down. Mix together rai dal, crushed saunf, salt and heated oil. Add the chillies and lemon juice. Mix well and enjoy.
Goes well with chapati raita and pickle. Veggies stuffed Roti with Daal,Kuruma or dry.
