  2. Prepare 1/4 cup yellow lentils

  7. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder

  12. Get 2.5 Cup water
Instructions to make Simple khichadi:
  1. First of all wash rice and lentil properly.
  2. Now heat oil in cooker, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asfotida let them crackle, further add black pepper and cloves powder.
  3. Now add green chillies, ginger and garlic paste saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Further add onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Now add all the spices and rice, potatoes and lentil and saute for 2 1 minute. Now add water and let it be boil and close the lid.
  6. Cook till 2 to 3 whistle. A the your khichadi is ready to serve. Serve with curd.
