- Take soaked chickpea in a pressure cooker. Add all the spices and salt except ginger Julians and green chillies. Add salt.
- Add 2 cups water and pressure cook on high flame till 1 whistle.
- Lower the flame and cook on low -medium flame for 8-10minites or till chickpeas are soft.
- Let pressure relaese.After pressure release open the lid and adjust the gravy consistency.If required add some water.
- For tempering,heat ghee in a pan.Add heeng and cumin seeds.When starts splattering add to chickpeas.
- Garnish with green chillies and ginger julians.
- Serve with parathe,pooris,rice or bhature.
