Hey everyone, it is Jim, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a distinctive dish, vegan roulade. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.
Vegan Roulade is one of the most well liked of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They are fine and they look fantastic. Vegan Roulade is something which I have loved my whole life.
This week in veganising Great British Bakeoff I decided to veganise a roulade. After observing that no one on Bakeoff was making vegan bakes, and the baker that many vegans had hoped would showcase plant-based baking turned out not to make any vegan bakes, I accepted a challenge from a friend to veganise a bake from Bakeoff each week. Last week's Bakeoff saw the bakers compete in Dessert.
To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have vegan roulade using 6 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.
The ingredients needed to make Vegan Roulade:
- Make ready 1 1/2 Ripe Banana
- Take 2 cup sugar
- Get 2 cup flour
- Take 2 tbsp boiling water

This vegan roulade has a lovely smokey flavour given by the smoked tofu and a Mediterranean echo, infused by the Italian herbs and grilled veggies. This dish is perfect as an entrée or as a main dish, enjoyed both hot or cold. The cheese sauce is also to die for! I have used the recipe from the lovely Rocco from Vegan Viking Kitchen.
Steps to make Vegan Roulade:

This decadent pudding is vegan, dairy- and gluten-free, so everyone can get stuck in. Whisk the coconut yogurt or cream with the icing sugar until thickened. Spread the coconut yogurt on top, keeping the border, then use the sheet of baking paper again to help you to roll up the sponge back into the rolled shape. Brush the roulade with vegan milk, then make horizontal 'surface-cuts' at half inch intervals on the surface of the dough, but don't put any weight on it whilst you do this. These will be your markers for each slice once cooked.
