- Marinate the hilsha fish with salt and turmeric powder.keep it for 10mins.
- Cut potato and brinjal in slices.
- Heat the pan and add 3 tsp mustard oil in it.Fry hilsha fish slightly.keep aside.
- Take 3tspn oil in pan. Add 1/4th black cumin seeds and green chillies in it.Fry for 10sec.
- Add sliced potatoes and fry it..then add sliced brinjal and also fry for 2mins in medium flame.
- Add turmeric powder,cumin powder,kashmiri red chilli powder and salt. Mix it well.
- Add some water and cook for 2mins in medium flame.
- Then add 3 cups water in it and when boiling add hilsha fish and green chillies.
- Cover it for 10 mins in medium flame.
- The fish curry is ready.
- Serve hot hilsha fish curry with hot steamed rice.
