  1. First boil the chowmein. Add the oil and salt to water and let it boil. When the water starts to bubble, add the chow to it and boil it for 5 mins or cook it till they are just done. Don't let them get mushy. Drain it in a colander and keep it aside.
  2. Next, in a wok heat the oil. When it starts to smoke, lower the heat to a simmer and add the garlic. When the garlic starts to get brown add the onions, capsicum, chillies and chicken. Add the salt and pepper and fry them for sometime or till the chicken is cooked. Then add the paneer and cook till the paneer has some reddish brown colour in it. Then add the chow to it and add the soy sauce. Mix everything well.
