- Prepare 300 gram potato cut into halves

Steps to make Aloo Matar:
- In a wok add cooking oil and add sliced onion and shallow fry it for 2 -3 min.
- Add garlic chopped and fry until it become soft and golden brown. Add potato and salt and mix properly and cook with lid on low heat.
- Check the potato soft or not. If soft add tomato and ginger paste and saute for a while. Add boiled green peas. Add turmeric powder,chaat masala powder, sugar and cook for 3 min. Bring it to boil by adding 1/2 cup of hot water.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilli.
