- Wash and soak split yellow moong dal for 3-4 hours.
- Discard soaked water and grind soaked split yellow moong dal in wet grinder to smooth batter.
- Add salt, green chillies ginger paste, asafoetida to moong dal batter. Mix well.
- Add black pepper powder and mix well.
- Keep water to boil in big vessel for steaming dhokla. Divide moong dal batter into 2 portions. In one moong dal batter add 1/4 tsp soda bi carb. Mix well. Pour into prepared greased thali to make thin layer.
- Place this dhokla thali on stand kept in big vessel. Cover and steam for 5-7 mins.
- Remove the steamed dhokla thali. Cut into squares pieces.
- Serve Delicious Hot Yellow Moong Dal Dhokla with Green Coriander Chutney.
