  2. Get 2 carrots
  3. Prepare 2 medium tomatoes
  4. Prepare 1 medium onion
  5. Prepare 2 sweet potatoes

  7. Make ready 3 garlic cloves
  8. Prepare 3 bay leaves
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp turmeric
  10. Prepare to taste Salt, Chili and pepper
Steps to make Beef/Lamb Soup - Spanish Style:
  1. Heat pan with no oil high heat - - Add lamb (water in the lamb will stop it from sticking). Drain water
  2. Once lamb is slightly cooked and water is drained add coriander, onion, garlic mix, mixing it in with the lamb. - - Add a tablespoon of olive oil turning the heat down to 5
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes after a min or two and the let it cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
  4. Once the tomatoes appear to soften, transfer the dish to a pot then add, carrots, sweet potato, lamb stock, 3 bay leaves,  2 tsps of chilli, tsp of black pepper, tsp of turmeric. Once all ingredients are in, mix together with heat remaining on gas mark 5
  5. Add boiled kettle water to cover the ingredients.
  6. Once the water starts to boil bring the heat down to gas mark 3 and let it cook for an hour approximately. Place lid but leave a slight gap for steam to escape.
  7. Note - You may need to top up the pot with more water if too much evaporates.
