  1. Make ready 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  2. Make ready 1 box pork stove top stuffing
  3. Get 2 eggs beaten
  4. Take 1 small onion
  5. Get 1 1/2 cup beef broth
  6. Make ready 1 12 ounce jar of beef gravy
  7. Take 1/2 cup sour cream
  8. Take 1 packages egg noodles
  9. Prepare 1 parmesan cheese (optional)

And the best part… my entire family LOVES them! I used similar ingredients for the meatballs from my mom's recipe here. But the creamy sauce has a secret ingredient that our family loves which I think adds such amazing flavor. It tasted like the famous IKEA Swedish meatballs but somehow even better.

Instructions to make Swedish meatballs:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Mix ground beef, onion, stove top stuffing, egg and broth together until well mixed
  3. Make 32 one inch diameter meatballs
  4. Place on a cookie sheet that is lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until done
  6. Mix gravy and sour cream in a large saucepan and heat together until well blended
  7. Add meatballs into sauce and simmer 5 minutes
  8. Cook egg noodles as directed.
  9. Put meatball mixture on top of egg noodles and sprinkle with parmesan

This will be the only gravy recipe that I use for now own. In a large bowl, combine the onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the vegetable stock and beef stock and continue to stir.
