Gradually add powdered sugar and beat on HIGH until creamy and smooth. Initially, I hadn't even planned to post the recipe, because it is almost too easy!. The cake is then layered with the dreamiest, fluffiest frosting that's filled with hunks of chopped up candy bars (and also happens to look exactly like Oreo Ice Cream!). Mine was studded with bits of caramel and nougat, silky milk chocolate and deep dark chocolate, a hint of hazelnut and the occasional bite of crispy cappuccino.
Steps to make Chocolate Fudge Candy Bar Cake:
- Prepare cake mix as directed, and bake. Once done, poke holes all over cake with end of wooden spoon, and pour can of sweetened condensed milk over top of it.
- Chop up candy bars.
- Pour caramel/chocolate sauce/syrup and some of the crushed candy bars over cake into holes.
- Spread whip cream over cake
- Then top more crushed candy bar and more caramel or choc syrup on top.
Melt chocolate chips in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Chocolate ice cream sandwich bars layered with chocolate fudge and frozen whipped topping with decorative chocolate sprinkles. Chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla come together to make a homemade fudge that's bursting with chocolate flavor. It's a simple treat to put together for gifts and sharing this holiday season. Transfer into a new bowl and set aside until needed.
